Mrs. Yutkins is the art teacher at the Manchester Memorial Elementary School. She joined the MMES community in 1996 after teaching Topsfield and Boxford Ma. from 1992-1995. She holds a Masters of Education degree from Lesley University, a Bachelors of Education degree with a concentration in art education and graphic design with a minor in music from Salem State University. Mrs. Yutkins was a graduate of Danvers High School and attended Saint Mary’s of the Annunciation Elementary School in Danvers. As a child she took art lessons from the late Sister Vincent DePaul at the Notre Dame Center in Ipswich Ma. It was Sister Vincent that inspired Mrs.Yutkins to become an elementary art teacher. Mrs. Yutkins feels fortunate to have a teaching position that allows her to have her students year after year and watch them mature into wonderful young adults from Pre- K to grade 5. It brings her great joy when former students come back to visit and volunteer. MRS. YUTKINS LOVES SPENDING TIME with her family, WALKING HER DACHSHUND and KAYAKING ON THE IPSWICH RIVER, she also enjoys ceramics, painting with friends, and ICE CREAM.
